General Information - Delivery Details
At Marine Scene we carry a vast range of products in our warehouses and maintain good stock levels.
We aim to dispatch orders within one to three working days of your order being placed, subject to stock availability. If the item ordered is out of stock, a member of our sales team will contact you to inform you of any delay in delivery time.
We only dispatch orders on weekdays. Orders placed after 2pm on a Friday will not be dispatched until the following Monday. Courier deliveries do not normally occur on a Saturday - we therefore cannot guarantee deliveries on a Saturday. Once goods leave our premises we cannot guarantee an exact delivery time and date, however we will do our utmost to get the goods to you as soon as possible. The vast majority of our orders are sent with a courier, however we do use Royal Mail for smaller items.
Packages dispatched with couriers will require a signature from a person at the delivery address. Goods will not normally be left without a signature.

For orders of flares or life rafts being sent to the Channel Isles please provide your Channel Seaways Account Number when placing your order.
We can ship to Australia, New Zealand and many other world wide destinations. Some restrictions may apply - Please email us with your enquiry and we will confirm delivery costs. Some orders may pass through our system at a zero carriage rate, our Customer Services team will contact you with a delivery price.
Unfortunately we cannot ship to USA or Canada.

European delivery is approximately 4 to 9 working days.
We will endeavour to ship your order sooner where possible, providing we have the required products in stock. A large proportion of orders received are sent out on a next day service at no extra charge.
Unfortunately we cannot ship liquids, outboard motors or products classed as hazardous goods into Europe. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Extra large or very heavy items eg chain, over 20kg or items over 2 mtrs in length, may incur an extra carriage charge of up to £20 or will require collection from the Porthcawl warehouse. Customers may arrange their own carriage.
We currently accept orders from all postal areas in the UK, including England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. Carriage to the Channel Islands, Guernsey & Jersey are shown at time of checkout. The majority of items shipped to addresses are sent via UK Mail, Fedex or Royal Mail.
Delivery to the Isles of Scilly will be charged at our standard UK Mainland rate, we will arrange for delivery to be made to the Isles of Scilly Steamship Company in Penzance. If you have an account with the steamship company please enter the number in the comments box at the checkout.
Extended Returns Policy
At Marinescene we want all our customers to be happy with the goods purchased from us and appreciate that customers may require time to get down to their boat to check the suitability of a product. With this in mind we are pleased to offer customers a 30 day returns policy.
Any unopened and unused items can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. They will need to be returned in original packaging and product packaging must be immaculate for re-sale.
Returned items will be checked and if found to be used or soiled no refund will be given and a charge to re-post will be made.
Returned clothing and footwear items must be sent back with all labels and tags attached.
All returned items must be sent back in the original packaging.
If you wish to exchange your clothing or footwear purchase for an other size or colour, return postage will be charged at the standard rate.

Defective or Faulty Products
If you believe that the products you have purchased are defective or an error has been made on our part, please ring our customer services as soon as possible on 01656 671822 to make them aware of the return. When sending the package back to us, please provide us with a description of the fault to aid our inspection team more quickly with the diagnosis of the problem/defect.

Please note that all cancelled orders will be subject to a 25% handling, administration and re-stocking charge.
We will be happy to either replace the product or offer a refund for the value of the goods returned upon receipt and inspection of the items.
