Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Buy Now" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. All prices are inclusive of Vat at the rate of 20% where applicable
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Delta and Solo card payment. Under the Distance Selling Regulations consumers are entitled to a 7 day "cooling off" to inspect the goods from the date of receipt of goods ordered when you can change your mind about any purchase. However, such goods must be returned, unused, at the buyers expense in an "as new" saleable condition in their original packaging otherwise the goods will be rejected. It is your responsibility to ensure that returned goods are securely packaged and not damaged in transit. We accept no responsibility for items (faulty or otherwise) damaged in transit to us. Please advise us within 7 days of purchase if there are any discrepancies with your order as after this time there can be no comeback.
Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 256 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
WARNING: Marinescene Ltd takes a zero-tolerance view in cases of obvious credit card fraud. We report ALL attempts to use a credit card fraudulently to the police.
We do not automatically collect any information about users of this website. We do collect information about users who choose to voluntarily communicate with us through email or via submission of our contact pages or enquiry form. We also collate general aggregate information about use of the website for statistical purposes.
Upon written request we will provide all information held about a specific user; however, proof of identity will be required before we provide that information.
If you provide information to us via our contact form, email or subscription to the newsletter form you will only receive a response to your reasons for contact, we will not contact you for any other reason. However, if we feel we have an offer or new service relating to your specific enquiry we may contact you again in the future. If you do not wish to be contacted in this way, and would like to unsubscribe from our database, please let us know by sending us a brief email. We will not disclose information about our customers to third parties except where it is part of providing a service to you e.g. arranging for a product to be sent to you, security checks and for sending our newsletters which are carried out by a secure third party. We do not pass on any details to marketing companies.
We reserve the right to change the wording of this policy at any time. If we feel it is appropriate to change this policy we will notify users of this website by posting the new wording on this web page.

Complaints Procedure If you have a complaint we will handle it fairly and effectively, treating your information as confidential. All complaints will be acknowledged within 5 days and dealt with by our customer service manager immediately, we will keep you informed and do our best to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
