La Crosse Technology Digital Compass / Barometer / Altimeter
It's an off-the-beaten-track piece of kit that packs a host of functions into its compact dimensions. Most obvious is the digital compass.
This features degree, north-point arrow and cardinal point readings with a range of -0° to 359°. And the declination angle is adjustable for regions with magnetic variation. Once set on the straight and narrow, the altimeter gives your altitude in either feet or metres while the barometer displays pressure in hpa, mmHG or inHG. Ref14: NC-3152
Casio W753 Tide Watch. Ref14: NC-95106
Once set for the local area, this smart Casio watch provides visual indicators of tidal status and moonphase (giving an idea of the likely range). Has backlight, stopwatch with elapsed and split time modes, countdown timer, day and date, 12 or 24hr time readouts and five daily alarms. Water-resistant to 330ft.
This neat little world time clock has an unusual way to select and display your chosen city; you rotate one of the four triangular (giving 12 cities in total) switches beneath the display to bring the appropriate name to the front, which then illuminates. Ref: NC-3142
