Musto can now protect your feet from the rigours of the oceanas well as we can your body.
2002 sees Musto enter into the footwear market with a GORE-TEX boot and two styles of deck shoe. These have been in the design and planningprocess for a long time and Musto hope that you'll appreciate the effectivenessof many of the features that we have incorporated.
The HPX Boot and Performance Deck Shoe feature our unique GripDeck outsole- Made from a soft sole compound with EVA for additional comfort, an extra wide footprint offers excellent traction and lateral stability. The sole has a three-dimensional waffle mould and with raised inner walls, is excellent for climbing masts. An added safety feature are water channels on the bottom of the sole which disperse water to prevent aqua planing and slipping To maintain a well fitting boot around your foot, we have added a Velcro instep tensioner that will help keep the HPX boot in place. An ocean gaiter is also included and the highly durable nylon boot shaft means that you'll have the best protection, no matter what the conditions.
The Performance Deck Shoe features a locking lace system that has two functions - Under tension it secures the foot into the shoe. When released it acts as a lace lock allowing the wearer to take the shoe off but prevents it falling off. A 100% leather upper ensures a low odour performance shoe,compared with other trainer style deck shoes.
